LPT group commissioned this classification plant for a leading Western sand and gravel producer.
Complimenting an LPT fractionation plant at a nearby location, this HydrosizerTM based plant, classifies a portion of concrete sand production into +50 mesh and –50 mesh streams. These resulting products are dewatered on an LPT Dewatering Screen.
The coarse and fine streams are selectively used to adjust existing products by modifying top or bottom end of the gradation.
For specialty sands, coarse and fines are proportionally remixed on the dewatering screen.
