The classic fines recovery system from LPT enables producers to recover usable fines from effluent streams. Everyone pushes the operational envelope, the result is reject fines contained in Screw overflow. This LPT system located in the Mid-West handles 3000 gpm and is designed to recover +200 mesh fractions; these recaptured fractions are selectively added back to the discharge end of the Screw. Excess fines are rejected into the Separator overflow stream as waste.
This combination of LPT equipment includes a Sump, Pump and Separators mounted into a structure to bridge the Screw. The purpose built underflow collection launder allows selective blend-back of fines with Screw product.
